AUBURN, Ala.- A controlled burn in Lee County will be conducted Friday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Nov. 30. The burn will involve large debris piles located outside of the city limits along North Donahue Drive between Donahue Ridge and Woodward Oaks subdivisions.

Residents may observe smoke in the area during the burn. Local authorities are aware of the planned burn and will monitor the event.
